The turn has swayed
the tassles all frayed
it's not like I care
I'm everywhere.
The place I knew
It's not for you.
The chant's are new
It's thanks to you.
The frown
upside
not down
in this town
with little to love
This place
this invasion of space
this calling
this face
the children who play
not so bad until yesterday
in tune with
the moon which
shines on me
Breathe in
exhale dust
stress and confusion
must and lust
you've come inside
offer a dance in my mind
into you I see
out of this let it be
unknown to me
what we won't see
it's in me.
it's all there
it's not fair.
it's all me
it's all there
it's all mine
it's all there
it's all unfortunate
it's all there
it's all in time travel.
it's all there.
it's all in christ.
it's all there
it's all in lilly
it's all there
it's all in me
it's all there.

Hey - we don't know each other but I stumbled upon your blog and feel compelled to write. I know how it feels to be betrayed and lonely. I know how it feels to be failed/rejected by one's chosen faith and friends/family/ lover. I've found the thing about faith is - it's YOUR choice to believe or not - not that my truth is yours or I have any answers - I'm every bit as fucked up as everyone else. But am struck by your words and wanted to reach out to you, regardless of how random it seems, to let you know that your words touched me. Oh yea, for what it's worth, I don't think there's anything wrong with being gay and that anyone, who tries to gas you up on hatred - RUN AWAY - why on earth would you consent to being treated with such contempt? People who treat you like shit, regardless of their dogmatic rationalizations, aren't and never will be worthy of your precious, original brand of divinity. Shine them off bro', love yourself enough to find a place of worship that returns the favor.
Peace.
